He is at the helm of several initiatives in technology, applications, processes, customer deliveries and business development. Vipin is the Founder & Board Member, Group Chief Strategy Officer. He is responsible for Strategy, Execution and Results at Gateway Group. Vipin is also responsible for global inorganic initiatives (‘Buy & Build’) of Gateway Group. With a unique blend of Indian background, combined with Dutch/International exposure, he has evolved as an entrepreneur at ‘heart and soul’. Vipin believes fervently that “There is no substitute for hard work”.
Vipin is an ‘Innovation Agent’ with over twenty two years of managerial and consulting experience, he appears frequently in the media and regularly speaks at events. Vipin served in The Netherlands India Chamber of Commerce and Trade (NICCT) as an active Board Member and Chairman (2015-2017), and recently he has been awarded “The Most Inspiring Businessman of The Year Award” by IDEAH (Indo Dutch Entrepreneurs Association in Holland).
Vipin had worked in the USA and the UK with multinationals before deciding to undertake his own entrepreneurial adventure. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences Engineering and he is a Master’s in Business Administration.
Rahul co-devises global sales strategies and identifies business opportunities across geographies and accounts. He drives the business growth of Gateway Group especially in the Europe, Middle East and East Africa regions. He is a partner in the customer’s journeys, managing relationships to ensure mutual growth and success.
Rahul extends business development strategies into channels such as joint ventures, partnerships and affiliate programs. The approach he carries is to have a legal structure in each region which is directly responsible for the customer relationship. He makes corporate brands, various services as well as products in its relevant markets, partners and JV units. He makes sure that teams are identified, well-placed, motivated, trained, recruited and accountable for their tasks and deliveries. As the leader of his team, he guides and catalyzes each of his team-mates’ progress as an individual as well as for the overall progress of the organization. He keeps himself updated with the global tech and business trends to funnel the market intelligence back into the system for product roadmaps.
He has an eye to identify resourceful candidates and opportunities for inorganic growth. He also implements Marketing, Sales and STC strategies. He excels in go-to-market plans for each region, reviews the activities, and loves to maintain P2P connect with the customers. This helps him gauge the impact his strategies have on them and improvise accordingly.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics engineering from S.P. University, V.V. Nagar and MBA in marketing from MS University, Baroda.
Harry is the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Gateway’s DiLX’ division. His primary responsibilities involve day-to-day commercial management (marketing & sales) decisions and implementation of the company’s long and short-term plans as well as to drive success plans for the DiLX.
With over 25 years of experience in the global IT industry Harry has had a dynamic management career with strong leadership, problem-solving, planning, team building, marketing, new business sales, and account management skills. He builds excellent relationships with clients and partners, and ensures the performance of global deliveries.
Harry started his career at Unilever UTD (feed manufacturing). He was responsible for commodity administration and optimization (Bestmix) and warehousing (IBM). Later he joined a big retail bank in Amsterdam as office director of three bank subsidiaries in Diemen and Almere. He was involved in strategic mergers and acquisitions including front- and back-office banking IT projects. When ERP software became popular, he continued his career at Baan Company (today Infor) as VP marketing & sales in semi process industries. Years later he moved to IT players like Interchain (today BluJay) and GreenCat in transport management (TMS), warehouse management (WMS), container management (CMS) and customs, always in the CCO role.
From the beginning of 2006 to January 2015, Harry successfully handled his own company Consolit as the CEO and shareholder. He had also started project assignments in companies focused on supply chain distribution (planning) and manufacturing optimization and control (SCM/ SCP/ S&OP/ IBP).
He is culturally sensitive with the experience of working in Northern Europe and the United States. He is respected for a team-based management style, value-based leadership skills, and vision-based organizational design. He is born in Rotterdam, a fan of Feyenoord and has played badminton fanatically for many years until his new hips became a reality. A new hobby emerged: online marketing and SEO. In the scarce leisure time, he builds websites on his own VPS.
Shaival is the Chief Technology Officer at Gateway’s Transport and Logistics division – DiLX. He is responsible for Customer Delight, Technical Excellence, New Technology Innovation, Project Reviews, Process Implementation and Process Standardization for the DiLX team. He maintains customer relations, understands the target market and is extremely influential in the delivery of IT projects.
He has 20+ years of IT experience and great technical skills that helps him deliver customer excellence, ensuring smooth delivery with technology always functioning as the backbone. He is responsible for exploring new technological frameworks and upcoming architectures for possible utilization in client solutions. Exposure to key engagements, working with European and Asian customers directly helps his team and him to understand the culture and define the strategy accordingly. He is highly respected for his technical and team-leading skill.
Shaival is an advanced technology futurist who keeps himself updated with the latest tech inventions and is most of the times seen engrossed in tech news.
Kapil Mathur is a proficient and results-driven sales professional with 15 years of experience in Saas Solutions, Big Data Products, Product Engineering, TMS as well as WMS & SCM Solutions. Over these years, Kapil has built an extensive global network in the Supply Chain, Retail, eCommerce, Aviation & Hospitality industry.
Kapil commenced his journey at Google India as a sales professional and matured into a variety of functional roles which honed his expertise in formulating strategies and breaking into new and unexplored market segments for business expansion by developing grass root business networks.
A major part of his work is focussed on ensuring that the business targets are met with and are at par with the ever-increasing competition from organized and unorganized markets. He continues to handle large Business Development & Marketing functions to ensure generation, the evolution of profitable partnerships with clients and prospects. As a part of his current role, Kapil is responsible for envisioning, formulating, and implementing overall growth and commercial Strategies for DiLX, to ensure market capture and enhance brand awareness.
Ola Hammarlund is the CEO of Gateway Digital Sweden. He was formerly heading the Sweden and Finland business for Tech Mahindra.
In a career spanning 26 years, Ola has led Swedish and Nordic programs and initiatives across various organizations. His strong forte in making clients transform with the help of Innovation and IT, together with extensive experience in larger deals, growth and making clients succeed are his core strengths.
In addition to this, Ola has been leading the Engineering Services for Tech Mahindra in the Nordic region. Furthermore, he has previous experience working at TCS with new business development, focusing on new logo acquisition in Sweden. Before that, he has held Management positions at Fujitsu, Bisnode, Tele2, WM-data/Logica (CGI), CSC (DXC) and Microsoft. Before entering ICT, he was working as a Management Consultant for 5 years.
Mikael joined Gateway Digital as a CEO for both Finland and Sweden in June 2019. He has an extensive experience in coaching teams for better performance through employee engagement. He has also been working in the IT industry with consulting, sales and development. In these areas, his largest contribution has been in the area of change management.
He also has excellent level of understanding multicultural group dynamics from working and starting up both consulting and developing organizations in multiple countries.
In the past, Mikael was a part of the General Management team in Aditro for six years and he was directly involved in both divestment’s and acquisitions. With Aditro his responsibilities also included key account management and business strategies with financial steering modelling.
Team and change management, finance, sales and software development have been his forte.
Alf Lande has the expertise within business model innovation and the convergence of media. He has worked as an executive in several media companies (film, radio and print) from 1988 to 1996, after 4 years in the public sector and also was a professor in Denmark. As a strategy consultant since 2000 (CEO of LAC AS), he has had more than 50 clients across the Nordics, focusing on the transformation of analog to digital media. He has both worked with leading analytical agencies and business associations.
For the past three years Alf Lande has increasingly focused on digital agencies in Norway and Sweden and has been hired as a CEO in Pingbull as part of the company’s transformation to become the digital care of RedInk, one of the leading communication agencies in Norway. He has been working as a chairman and leading the transformation of Sticky Beat from being a classical digital agency to an innovational and transformational partner to its clients. The urgent need to create and develop players that deeply understand digital transformation is now an imperative strategic focus area for most businesses – the main motivation for Alf Lande to join Gateway Digital AS as a CEO.
Stephen Covers, is the CEO of Gateway Digital, UK and Ireland. Steve, as he likes to be called, has extensive experience in Sales, Marketing, Operations & Finance and he has enjoyed a successful business career spanning more than 25 years in the Global ICT Industry.
His passion is to create significant business advantage for his clients using innovative services and solutions for his clients.
Steve believes, that in order for a company to deliver optimised, competitive and strategic solutions to its customers, it’s people should strive hard to gain in-depth knowledge of their client’s business and its needs, before asking for one.
Steve has led several profitable and high growth business outsourcing divisions for over 10 years of his career, and while this has been his primary focus, he has personally led many successful global business programmes across many different verticals; including securing and delivering several ICT outsourcing projects and contracts, each in excess of $150m value or more.
Steve has a degree in Physical Science (Hons) from Coventry University, London. In 1982, soon after his graduation, Steve started his career as a Software Graduate Engineer for a Digital Equipment Company. Thereon, Steve has supported a series of senior roles in sales, commercial, and operational in companies like Sprint, Equant, Verizon Business and Getronics.
Steve and his wife Mandy live with their three children to the West of London, where they enjoy walking and watching their children participate in various sporting activities.
Elvar has about 30 years IT experience and over 15 years of managerial, sales and consulting experience with companies like Capacent, Oracle and Microsoft. Elvar spearheaded Microsoft Iceland for the first 3 years, then led Microsoft Information Worker Business in Russia and Microsoft Office business in Central Eastern Europe, covering 27 countries.
For the last three years Elvar has been doing business consulting in Iceland, both independently and with Capacent Iceland. Before Microsoft Elvar led his own company Teymi, mainly in Iceland but also in Sweden and Denmark. Teymi was acquired in 2002.
Elvar holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (California State University, Chico, USA) and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (Kent Business School, Canterbury, UK).
Pascal joined Autofacets in May 2017 to open French operations just after he created Moby-D, a consulting business operating in the field of fleet management and mobility. For 15 years he geared ALD SA from being a small French company toward a world leader in fleet management business and its successful introduction into the French stock market. Previously he worked as a managing director in Financial businesses in Italy and the UK. He has also been for some time chief economist in an international bank.
He is a recognized expert in mobility area worldwide, having been elected in the Fleet Europe “hall of fame” in 2013 for his contributions to the fleet management and vehicle lease industry, and now being chairman of the advisory board of Global Fleet in Latin America. He speaks regularly at events and appears often in the press.
Pascal has worked for more than 20 years in Latin America, the UK and Italy and the rest in France. From a professional and cultural angle, he considers himself a citizen of the world speaking fluently Spanish, Italian, English and obviously French.
Strategic thinking, management, sales, customer relationship and finance have been his forte.
Pascal is a graduate from HEC (Hautes Etudes Commerciales – 1975) and holds a PhD in Economics from Paris VIII University (1986).
