Just after two months of receiving this prestigious award, she founded <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.awesomeleaders.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AWESOME<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">which stands for <\/span><b>A<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">chieving <\/span><b>W<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">omen\u2019s <\/span><b>E<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">xcellence in <\/span><b>S<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">upply chain <\/span><b>O<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">perations, <\/span><b>M<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">anagement, and <\/span><b>E<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ducation. The moment she got the award, the thought struck to her that why it took 47 long years for CSCMP to recognize a woman\u2019s efforts and contribution in the Transport &amp; Logistics industry. She took over her family business that boasted a legacy of over 150 combined years and scaled it to unforeseen heights. She received certification from the National Women Business Owners Corporation and went on to become CEO of Amware Logistics while she rebranded the company to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.symbia.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Symbia Logistics<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Megan is still going on and can be seen proudly stating that her organization comprises of women leaders. Transit through railroads was fast yet efficient and the dominant workforce behind this was male. However, in 1976, Edwina \u201cCurly\u201d Justus became the first black female locomotive engineer to be appointed for working by <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.up.com\/aboutup\/community\/inside_track\/first-female-engineers-05-05-2017\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Union Pacific Railroad<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. However, one woman has taken up the challenge to transform this scenario and bring more and more women to be a part of this rapidly growing sector. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.womenintrucking.org\/our-staff#Ellen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ellen Voie<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, president, and CEO of Women In Trucking Association<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">travels all around the globe to deliver pep talks and empower women in the trucking industry. She is a robotics innovator and has played an instrumental role in forging the futuristic supply chain solutions as the CEO of <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/fetchrobotics.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fetch Robotics<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. The firm manufactures autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) which are a big aid in finding, tracking, and moving inventory.
